Ex-footballer investigated after drink drive arrest
A former Blackpool FC player arrested on suspicion of drink driving, common assault and criminal damage has been released from police custody.
Former Premier League footballer Trevor Sinclair, 44, was arrested on Sunday following a car crash on Clifton Drive in which a female pedestrian was injured.
He was further arrested today on suspicion of a public order offence and assaulting a police officer. He has been released under investigation.
