This weekend saw the return of the town’s 1940s Festival after a two year break during the pandemic.

The event on August 20 and 21 featured Second World War vehicles, recreations of battles from the era and period entertainment.

It attracted thousands of people to Lytham Green, including many who dressed up for the occasion.
