The Ship at Lathom is hosting a Beer, Pie & Sausage Festival on September 12, 13 and 14.

On Friday September 12 at 8pm, Darren Poyzer and Kevin Farrell, aka Incredible Planet, perform, while oSaturday September 13, Dave Sharp is playing. His solo albums have received critical recognition and he worked alongside Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash.

Also on Saturday September 13, between 2-7pm, Kevin Farrell will perform a solo spot.

In the evening of Saturday September 13 at 8pm, local band The Articles will entertain with their punchy pop rock sound and on Sunday September 14 between 2 and 7pm, Ian Bailey will perform a chilled set with acoustic guitar.

All of the sessions at the Ship are free and they are being put on by The Venue@ the End of the Universe.

It is a community music and arts venture which is run on a non-commercial basis and is a ‘pop-up’ venue that arranges events in the local area..
