Busy beavers star on TV’s One Show
The animals first arrived at the Burscough centre in July 2007 and they have certainly been busy since then, building an impressive lodge and tunnel network.
One Show presenter Mike Dilger will be at the centre as attempts are made to drive cameras through the tunnels to see just how much work the beavers have done.

Hide AdCentre manager, Nick Brooks, said: “Everyone at the centre is very excited to get a glimpse of the tunnel network the beavers have created – we know it is extensive based on the number of holes but we don’t know how intricate they are.”
Families will be able to learn more about the beavers during a drop-in session next weekend as part of a two-day Animal Magic event.
The sessions run from 2.45-3.30pm on both Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, amid the animal-based fun.
Representatives from the centre and a number of local animal organisations will be at the event.
