California dreamin’ on the run

Reading between the lines, the whisking away of Molly Warburton to California last month can only have extremely exciting ramifications for the singer and her band.

Molly was flown to the sunshine state for just over a week in mid-October on “music related business” according to her guitarist Luke Wilding; the results of such an epic and expensive journey will be announced in due course.

A mini tour of the state was organised for the Carnforth singer-songwriter to show off her voice while there.

Molly even got to perform at the world renowned Savanna Jazz Club in San Francisco, where she spent most of the evening making friends with local musicians.

Molly said: “It was amazing!

“It was the first time I’ve ever been to the US and everyone I met was so receptive and enthusiastic about music.

“I can’t wait to go back.”

Molly also went to see the famous giant redwood trees at Big Trees National Park, right.

She added: “The forests were just so lush and colourful in autumn and those trees were really, really big!”
