Lytham Proms pull off a Hallé coup at Last

The internationally-renowned Hallé Orchestra will brings its magic to this year’s much-anticipated Lytham Proms Festival, it was announced today.

The ensemble of symphonic talent will perform a Last Night of the Proms on Sunday August 3, as the Fylde Coast’s biggest summer party celebrates its fifth birthday in style.

Children aged under 16 can get a free ticket for the evening concert, when purchased with at least one adult ticket, to enable the Hallé’s sound to reach a new, younger audience.

Now in its 156th season, the Hallé ranks among Europe’s top symphony orchestras, with a distinguished history of acclaimed performances in this country and around the world, while remaining rooted firmly in the North West.

Music legends of all genres are signing up to the festival. International singing star Tom Jones has already announced he’ll perform on the Saturday.

Tickets for the Hallé Orchestra concert are now on sale and organisers are predicting a massive response from North West music lovers for the three days of entertainment that starts on Friday, August 1.

Prices start from £29.50 before 31 March; £32.50 from 1 April to 30 June; £35.00 after these dates.
