“A chance to sod it all and enjoy a glass of wine in peace!”

Preston’s first Mums Night Off event takes place on Friday, March 21 at Preston North End Football Club.

Organiser Sarah Unsworth, who has two daughters, says: “I got a bit fed up hearing about celebrity wonder mums who manage to fit in gym, work, hairdressers and more and who are never seen with crisps squashed in their hair, baby sick down their work clothes or felt tip pen on their face at the supermarket.

“I decided REAL mums needed some time to themselves – some retail and beauty therapy, a chance to meet other mums without a play session in sight and if all else fails – a chance to sod it all and enjoy a glass of wine in peace!

“It can be hard for mums to get time for themselves – there’s so much to fit in with work, family and home, it can be difficult to fit in some “me” time.

“This night is a great opportunity to leave the kids at home for the night, give hubby the take away menu and come and treat yourselves.”

“We have over 45 confirmed businesses – with wine tasting, Ann Summers, loads of handmade jewellery and crafts, Thorntons, Marks and Spencer.

“The naked butlers are booked, Gary Mills is DJ-ing, we have exercise sessions including belly dancing, zumba and full body fitness, lots of beauty treatments including facials, nails, massages and a Benefit Brow Bar too.”

The event runs from 7-10pm.
