Hide AdShe is “a persona to match the timeless qualities of her music,” said a spokesman for the musician.
Drawing on early 20th Century folk, country and blues, she “has a voice that can pierce a heart of stone”.

Hide AdSuzie first recorded a cassette of seven songs for a few hundred dollars, made 50 copies and caught the attention of the music industry before Alt-Country even had a name.
Inspired, she quit her day job as a library clerk and, soon after, recorded her internationally acclaimed debut album Johnstown with assistance from Bazil Donovan (Blue Rodeo), Peter Moore (Cowboy Junkies) and Bob Egan (Wilco/Blue Rodeo).
Latest album Namedropper is a collection of songs written for her by fellow Canadian folk artists, and is vintage Oh Susanna.
