Snakes alive at nature reserve

The club supports the conservation of British snakes and beyond the event it is asking members of the public to look out for snakes.

A spokesman said: “Grass snakes and adders can still be found in the North West but their numbers are in decline mainly due to habitat loss.

“There are probably only isolated populations left in Lancashire.”

There is no need to book and activities are free of charge.
