Billy don’t be a zero...
Comedian Billy Pearce’s 57 date tour includes Lancashire.
He’s at Blackburn Windsor Hall on March 22, and the Platform in Morecambe on Saturday, May 17.
Pearce has won just about every comedy award going, including a British comedy award, Solo comedian of the year, and Best television comedy newcomer at the London Palladium.
In 1993, Billy was chosen to host The Children’s Royal Variety Performance screened by the BBC.
In total, Billy has performed in Five children’s Royal Variety shows and Three Royal Variety shows.
Although many of the themes he jokes about are of an adult nature, unlike other comedians, he never descends into the quagmire of crudity nor does he rely on obscene language.
Billy was recently awarded the 2013 Yorkshire Arts & Entertainment Award, with previous awards-winners including The Grimethorpe Colliery Band, Clare Teal, The
Kaiser Chiefs, Chris Moyles, John Godber and Gaynor Faye.
Billy Pearce plays King George’s Hall, Blackburn, on Saturday, March 22.
