The venue will mark the 100th anniversary of the Great War with a new adaptation of the classic play Woyzeck by Georg Buchner.

The play tells the tale of the traumatic experiences of a lowly soldier driven to the brink of madness by the brutality of war.

Woyzeck uses projections, puppetry, live music and a spine-chilling soundtrack to transport the audience into the chaos of the trenches and the disturbing netherworld of the soldier’s shell-shocked psyche.

The performance by Scene Production features a top cast who bring to life a host of characters.

Brewery theatre programmer Mike Jones said: “Woyzeck is one of the most startling and intense productions I have ever seen.”

The evening includes a 20-minute Q&A session with members of the cast. Tickets £14.
