A Tapestry of dirty garage pop

The Tapestry swap Manchester for Morecambe on February 1 when they launch the new series of Stages Live gigs at The Hothouse in the resort later that night. The popular four piece band have acquired a strong and loyal live following, leading them to sell out venues including their home city’s Night and Day Café, a career launchpad for bands including Elbow and Oasis.

They describe their music as ‘dirty garage pop’ and are influenced by bands including the Pixies, The Clash, Pavement and The Cure.

They appear here at the start of the spring Stages Live season which aims to bring the best of the UK’s breakthrough acts to Morecambe as well as providing an opportunity for young people to perform at gigs on their doorstep.
