“Yes, it’s a hard-hitting subject,” says writer John Woudberg “but it’s also a compelling drama in its own right.

“It has tension, humour and a gritty yet beautiful language.

“This is the last chance Preston audiences will have to see this play for some time – we’re so busy touring the country we hardly get an opportunity to perform at home.”

Actress Claire Moore adds: “Our play helps the audience answer the ‘Why doesn’t she just leave?’ question and gives them a chance to find out what really goes on behind closed doors.”

Researched by talking to survivors, the play will be followed by an after-show discussion with the writers and actors.

The play is not suitable for under 16s and contains strong language. Box office: 01772 499 425 0r Seetickets, WeGotTickets and Skiddle
