Young groups’ two very different stage debuts

Dozens of the youngest actors around Lancaster will be making their stage debuts next week.

The Fantastical is a double bill of work devised by young people, aged seven to 13, who attend regular sessions at The Dukes youth-specific venue – DT3.

From March 27-29, The Dukes Junior Youth Theatre will present The Science of Shrinking Students, while The Dukes youngest company – The Dukes Playmakers – will make their debut with Age Of Future.

The first is a madcap story devised by the company of 11 to 13-year-olds and features comedy, rhyme and big ideas.

Age Of Future couldn’t be more different, taking audiences on a musical journey with an environmental theme.
