Third year for Cloudspotting Festival
Cloudspotting music festival returns this weekend for a third fabulous year.
Expanding for the first time to a three day event, the tiny festival, which ran for two years at the Aspinall Arms, near Clitheroe, has moved to a secluded new site at Stephen Park, in the Gisburn Forest, near Slaidburn.
And this year, they will be providing live music and entertainment over three stages from this evening until Sunday.
Tonight, Clinic (pictured) and Colorama head the main stage while Magic Arm and Hot Soles lead on the Soundbytes stage.
On Saturday, there is a full day of music with Jonnie Common, Jesca Hoop and more on the main stage and Mark O’Reilly and Jess Bryant on the Soundbytes.
Sunday sees King Creosote and the Earlies and Wave Pictures close another packed bill on the main stage with Drop the Floor, The Slydes and more on the Soundbytes stage.
Local heroes on the bill include The One Voice Community Choir, singer songwriters Baxter Rhodes and Bill Orrick and Lancaster’s Ottersgear. Weekend camping tickets are £70 from www.cloudspotting.org.uk/
