Wild about fashion for families

Green is the new black at Brockholes Nature Reserve as the attraction hosts its first ever Natural Fashion Show on Tuesday.

The show, part of the reserve’s Wild Families series of events, gets children and families creating fashion garments from natural or recycled materials found on the reserve.

With one member as “model”, families create an outfit to display at a fashion show, with prizes for most creative, most outrageous and many more.

Wild Families events will be held every Tuesday and 
Friday until August 30, getting the whole family outdoors and working together.

Future Wild Families events, usually from 2pm to 4pm, includes Rubbish 
Racers on Tuesday, July 31, making a race car out of ‘rubbish’ to enter the Brockholes Grand Prix, Den Village on Tuesday, August 6, making a den, and the hugely popular Gruffalo Adventure on 
Friday, August 2. Pre-booking is
