Great Reviews expected after big gathering

Review bar opened in Preston Guild Hall in December.

Now it is to host the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s business Hangout

The regular meeting has moved from its usual home at Winckley Square owing to improvement works being carried out.

In May the Hangout was held in Baluga bar and declared a resounding success. Now it is Review bar’s turn, from 4pm to 6pm on July 20.

A spokesman for organisers Preston Business Improvement District said: “Review is a new addition to Preston’s award-winning nightlife and has already earned an eviable reputation for cocktails, ambience and service.

Join us for a drink, great food courtesy of the Villa Italian and conversation – let’s mix business with pleasure.”

It is a change of location from the traditional venue of Winckley Square which is undergoing a £1.2m restoration.

BID manager Mark Whittle said: “Our Hangout events have always proved very popular with the local business community and we hope this will be no different. We might be temporarily on the move as Winckley Square has a ‘make over’, but that is the only difference people will notice; there will still be the same great food, drink and conversation, proving business and pleasure DO mix.”
