Green light for Preston city centre apartment plan

Friday Club Developments bought the premises at 5-7 Cannon Street, Preston with permission in place for 15 studios, but they were not satisfied that they provided the space needed to create quality homes.
Sean Elliot, co-founder and architect of Friday Club Developments, and his business partner Tony Houlihan, took the step to not only plan for the build of an additional floor, but also halve the number of units in total.

Hide AdThe block will also benefit from additional amenities and outside space such as balconies and terraces.
The company has previously completed projects in South Manchester and Cheshire. This is their first move into Preston, attracted by regeneration projects in place, including the City Living Strategy and the Stoneygate Masterplan, along with investment from businesses and the university.
