"This why the government need to bring the Army": Your reaction to our story of people ignoring 'Stay at Home' advice
and live on Freeview channel 276
Residents have voiced outrage after Prestonians continued to defy the Government's lockdown instructions.
This why the government need to bring the Army in to assist the Police as there isn't enough of them. This is serious people are dying and it's not being taken seriously I live in Morecambe and the prom is full of people treating it like a bank holiday

I walked near Preston dock today and saw young people in groups of three or more, who clearly weren’t from the same household and weren’t respecting social distance rules.

Yeah, I'm one of them, I'm going daily for a half hour sunbath or to exercise :) The weather is great, I can't miss smth like this. And yes, it's an essential activity for my mental health and anyway I'm keeping a safe distance
Adrian Diskin
Need to stop the "daily exercise" allowance because that's being abused. OK if you have a dog or something that needs to walk, but jogging or walk in park isn't a necessity

Hide AdFunny how many people are saying "while I was out on my daily exercise" and in the same comment complaining that they saw other people DOING THE SAME THING!! Exercise takes many forms and use of parks has been approved so don't be surprised that you will see other people. If you don't like it YOU STAY AT HOME instead of demonising others for doing exactly what you are doing.

I've been out and about to and from work . I've seen carloads of lads driving round and groups of lads around Plungy . There were a load playing basketball on Brook St this aft. I've seen less police (none) this week and tbh I'm surprised . No football , no pubs , little traffic I expected to see police out and about

Took a walk to town the other day, touched nothing, stayed away from everyone, not that there were many out. Up Deepdale Road, Church Street, Lancaster Road, North Road, Blackpool Road, a little bit breathless whilst doing it, heart rate raised, slight sweat on.
Just what my cardiac nurse advised me to do.

The longer they don't listen, the more people get sick, possible more deaths, the longer it takes to go back to normal

As Baroness Barran said in a House of Lords debate this week on the importance of journalists: "Not only are they a trusted source of facts, but they will have a role to play in rallying communities and getting the message across about how we can keep ourselves and our families safe, and protect our NHS. Undoubtedly, they have a critical role."
