29. Miller Park steps
Terrace steps with balustrades and urns. c.1865. Sandstone ashlar, the balustrades and urns now painted cream. Upper deck of terrace approx. 10m wide with curved ends
30. Avenham Walk
Avenham Walk, also known as Top Walk, was acquired by the town of Preston for 15 in 1697. Evidence from late 17th century diaries shows that the area was in use for promenading from at least 1686
31. Mounting block at Church of St Anne, Plumpton Lane
Mounting block, 18th century or earlier. Sandstone block cut to make 3 steps, set against wall of churchyard.
32. Church of St Anne stocks
Stocks, 18th century or earlier, restored. Two shouldered stone posts with round heads, restored wooden rails with accommodation for 2 pairs of legs; right hand post inscribed AB. 73
