Classic cars in the spotlight in Preston
Morris Minors, Triumph Spitfires, Ford Prefects and Porsches, both modern and retro, all lined up in Avenham and Miller Park on Saturday 12.
Treasurer and warden of St John’s Minster David Harrison said there was a “very good” atmosphere on the day.

While about 270 vintage car owners wheeled their automobiles out, it was also a good year for motorbikes.
About 40 bikers turned out on their two-wheeled steeds for the day, the most in all of the three years that the event has been running.
The classic car show is organised each year by canon Timothy Lipscomb of Preston Minister and captain David Thorpe of the Church Army.
