Comedian delights kids as he turns up at school

Lots of laughs were on the curriculum for pupils at Great Eccleston Copp School when comedian Steve Royle turned up to officially open the new entrance area at the school.

The choir sang to mark the occasion and everyone turned out to watch Steve cut a golden ribbon and declare the entrance area, with a new porch and doors open.

A school spokesman said “The youngsters were thrilled to see him, and they loved listening to his jokes.

“It was a super day and everyone got the chance to see him and celebrate the opening of the new entrance area.”
