Redrow’s latest development Calder Grange will open on Saturday, April 13. It will feature 26 detached homes from the homebuilder’s Heritage Collection for private sale.

The Eco Electric properties all feature air source heat pumps as standard to provide heating and hot water, as well as underfloor heating to the ground floor in detached designs, reducing homeowners’ energy use.

The homes also offer high levels of insulation, energy efficient windows and doors and a host of options and extras, including energy efficient appliances and smart home technology, all of which can make homes more sustainable.

Located off Dale View, the development is nestled next to an existing residential area and will enjoy a semi-rural feel within four acres of land. Footpaths and a landscaped area around a new balancing pond will provide habitats for native wildlife and enhance the environment for new residents.

Steve Jackson, sales director for Redrow (Lancashire), said: “The homes at Calder Grange feature our new Eco Electric specification, which uses air source heat pumps to generate heating and hot water, in place of a traditional gas boiler.

“This technology, which significantly reduces homeowners’ energy usage, will feature in all homes as standard and will be complemented by underfloor heating to the ground floors of our detached designs.

“The Ribble Valley was recently named one of the seven Best Places to Live in the North West by The Times, which is no surprise given its beautiful landscapes, good transport links and excellent amenities. Our range of detached homes at Calder Grange is set to meet a strong demand locally for spacious properties with family friendly layouts and a high specification.”

Three, four and five-bedroom properties range in size from 1,081 sq ft to 1,855 sq ft and include one of Redrow’s most popular styles, the three-bedroom detached Oxford Lifestyle. The property boasts a kitchen/dining area, along with a separate lounge and cloakroom. Upstairs there are three luxurious double bedrooms, each with their own ensuite, and an ensuite dressing area to the main bedroom. Prices currently start from £460,000.

One of the largest homes on the development is the five-bedroom Hampstead. The ground floor boasts an open plan kitchen, dining and family area. There is also a separate utility, cloakroom and lounge. Upstairs, each of the bedrooms is a double and two come with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a family bathroom.
