If you are looking for a top-end home, these are the most expensive streets in Lancashire.

New data has revealed the most expensive roads in the county between 2010 and 2020, with a road in Rufford, Ormskirk, taking the acclaim for the county’s priciest.

Homes on Croston Road sold for an average of £3.34 million between 2010 and 2020, significantly more expensive than Franklin Hill in the gated Brockhall Village, Old Langho, Blackburn which took second spot after fetching an average price of £1.75m.

Homes in Lancashire sold for an average of £159,489 between 2010 and 2020, with the top 12 roads seeing average sales surpass £1m in that period. Villages in Ormskirk dominated the top end of the list, while Lytham was also well represented.

The list has been compiled by house price valuation specialists Mouseprice, part of PropertyHeads, a property portal and social network.

Ben Davis, PropertyHeads founder and chief executive officer, said: “The 2010s were one of the craziest periods on record for the housing market and will most likely be remembered for their high house prices.

“The impact has been felt up and down the country and our research into Lancashire’s market serves as evidence of that.”
