Revamping our bathrooms and kitchens stands out as one of the most significant enhancements we can make to our homes. This transformation not only greatly impacts family life but also adds substantial value to our properties.

ROCCIA, which has showrooms in Preston and Bolton, has almost 30 years’ experience in the business and offers a wide range of choice, advice, design ideas and plans for tiles, bathrooms and kitchens to give your home the look you want, at a price you can afford.

Back in 1994 a store in Preston opened, called Tile Mart, which soon expanded into a second Bolton Branch. In 2016 it was rebranded to ROCCIA – (to better position them as) a company which has a reputation for exceptional service and bespoke high-quality products at preferential rates.

From tiles, it expanded to bathroom designs and continued to grow and develop. Today it also offers a full kitchen service – from supplying kitchens and appliances to designing and fitting.

Started by one man, and then developed by his five sons the business has grown with the family. With a dedicated employee training programme, the company remains true to its family-oriented and core values, evident in its support for various sponsorships, charitable work, and the ROCCIA Foundation.

The family values extend to the community too, with The ROCCIA Foundation set up to give something back by supporting national charities or local community projects.

Its sponsorship includes Preston North End, local football teams, Preston Cricket Club, local hospices like St Catherine’s and Bolton and cancer charities such as Rosemere Care, as well as feeding homeless people every Sunday. It also helps with worldwide appeals following disasters such as the Red Cross appeal following the earthquake in Turkey.

Trade and retail

As well as being open for retail ROCCIA has built up a loyal customer base in the trade – with a loyalty programme for regular trade clients. It offers both the high-end luxury brands and quality affordable brands and styles, there’s even an outlet website where you could find luxury tiles at affordable prices.

Designed your way

Whether you’re looking for the latest statement designs, from luxury names like Versace and Gessi, incorporating the likes of marble worktops and state-of-the-art wet rooms, or just want to upgrade and modernise your home with a simple but stylish bath, kitchen or shower room then ROCCIA is the place to go.

Tiles are still a huge part of their market, with products sourced from across the globe. ROCCIA say they have the largest independent tile showroom in the UK, stocking one of Europe’s most comprehensive range of tiles from a wide variety of brands.

Its showrooms at Queen Street, Preston and Chorley Old Road, Bolton, showcase a range of design options for floor and wall tiles, outdoor and indoor tiling as well as everything for bathrooms and kitchens. The in-house design teams can offer advice and guidance based on your tastes and budget and will sit down with you to design your bathroom before you start.

Career opportunities

Around 80 per cent of the workforce have been with the company for over 15 years. ROCCIA helps build staff loyalty by offering good rates of pay and conditions and ongoing support and training for career development, as well as organising staff events and celebrations.

ROCCIA also contributes to the local community by choosing to have its regional distribution centre in the heart of Preston.

As the company grows there are opportunities across a variety of jobs including sales, design, fitting, warehouse work, distribution, logistics, driving, administration and marketing.

Next year, ROCCIA will celebrate 30 years in business. This shows their commitment to the local community and delivering excellence nationwide.
