A BLOOMING fabulous garden in Pilling will again be open to the public this coming Sunday, June 26, to raise money for charity.

The garden of Janice and Frank Flynn and Chapel House, Wheel Lane, has won numerous awards over the years, including first prize in Lancashire Life ‘garden of the year’ in 2004 and was shortlisted for the national Daily Mail best garden competition in 2006.

This will be the 10th year the couple have opened the garden to the public and all proceeds are donated to Over Wyre Macmillan Cancer Support.

There will be a cake stall and plant stall and all contributions are welcome.

The gardens will be open 11am to 3pm and admission is £5 per adult, to include tea and coffee and buiscuits, while children gain entry free with an adult.

So far Janice and Frank have raised more than £22.500 for the Over Wyre Macmillan Cancer Support through their open gardens and this year they are hoping to get past the £25,000 mark.
