All flights are an easy transfer from Manchester through Heathrow’s Terminal Five.

Of these, Chengdu is probably the most interesting.

The Chinese city offers a wide array of attractions set against a famously laid back attitude to life .

Explore the many tea houses and bars of Chengdu and their flavoursome and aromatic cuisine, visit the Giant Panda sanctuaries, or perhaps explore some of China’s most historic temples home to some of China’s most important and historic literature archives.

At the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding there are opportunities to visit the creche and even hug a panda!
