Dua Lipa's sophomore album, Future Nostalgia, was one of the hottest releases of 2020, winning both critical accolades and support from fans for it's dancefloor pop.

Released in late March 2020 amid a flurry of rapturous reviews, the singer was worried that the then-fresh pandemic meant it wasn't the appropriate time for her club-pop album to be out in the world.

She couldn't be further from the truth: those beat-heavy tunes were just what we needed to buoy the spirits. At the end of 2020 the album was rewarded with six Grammy nominations, including album of the year

Unfortunately, the accompanying tour had to be postponed as the world shut down for lockdown.

Future Nostalgia has been applauded for its mixture of 80s synth and 90s pop classics, created a selection of pop-funk that's almost impossible to resist. She declared she wanted to make an album, “that felt nostalgic but had something fresh and futuristic about it too.”

Influenced by Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, and Olivia Newton-John, and Outkast, the first three singles, Don't Start Now, Physical, and Break My Heart, became worldwide hits even before the album's release.

The vinyl release of Future Nostalgia is currently sold out, but you can buy the album release here
