Pupils at St Thomas’ took part in the special Big Draw day with art workshops taking place in the school hall. The children had the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, including marble painting, drawing, glass painting and making collages plus a large Art Attack-style school logo.

Writing about the event for the school website, Year 6 pupils Lauren West and Zoe Stephen said: “We also had to paint our own hand and print it on paper for a hall display. One of our teachers, Miss Claire Merifield, and assistant Ms Andrea Wood set it all up and worked really hard. We all enjoyed it and we all say a big thank you to them.”

Miss Merifield, art co-ordinator, said: “The children loved getting involved in so many different art activities and produced some fantastic work.”
