Bishop welcomes church wardens

Services have already been held in Preston and Chorley and tomorrow there will be a service at Lancaster St Mary.

It was the first time that the clergy and wardens of the parishes which have newly become part of Blackburn Diocese had formally gathered at the Cathedral.
As their clergy and wardens were called forward, they were greeted with a standing ovation.
