Local Scouts will be in for a treat when survival expert Bear Grylls, the Chief Scout, drops in to visit them this Saturday, May 11.

Travelling by helicopter (Bear Force One), he will drop in at Waddecar Scout Activity Centre, near Beacon Fell, to visit more than 1,000 Scouts who are having their annual county rally there.

He will then head north to call in on more than 1,000 Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Explorer Scouts from West Lancashire who are also having an activity day at Great Tower Scout Camp Site in the Lake District.
