Children and staff of Chipping Early Learners’ Pre-School enjoyed a trip to Laund Farm at neighbouring Leagram to see Christmas Trees growing in their natural habitat and to choose their own tree for their school.

Farmer Simon Stott collected the children in his tractor and trailer and after a short walk watched Simon cut down their chosen tree which was later brought back to Chipping to be put up and decorated. Manager Helen Hutchings said: “We felt that it was important to let the children see the trees in their natural environment, and have an understanding of how the tree gets from field to home. Thanks to the Stott family for enabling us to do this!”
