Last year's Cockerham Tractor Run.

Last year around 100 tractors took part in an annual run in Over Wyre and this year organisers are hoping for even more.

The 20-mile Cockerham Tractor Run takes place on Saturday, May 7, starting from and finishing at the village hall.

Tractor drivers are asked to register from 5pm and set off at 6pm.

The cost is £12 per tractor and driver and £5 for passengers and this includes a hot pot supper, sponsored by Lanes Vets, cake and drink.

Families are encouraged to attend and wave the tractors off and then there is free entry to the village hall where there will be a bouncy castle, face painting, sweet stall and other side stalls. The bar is open and everyone is welcome.

The event is being organised by Cockerham Field Day committee, with all proceeds going to field day funds.

Last year the tractors were said to have been a brilliant sight and this year organisers say there will also be tractor pullers on display on the field.
