Wyre residents are being encouraged to find out more about their council services and how to get more involved in shaping them.

A number of drop-in sessions in the heart of communities are being held during this week’s Local Democracy Week (which ends on October 16).

Councillors and officers will be talking directly to people who live, work and do business in the borough.

Parish councils have also been invited to the sessions happening in their areas.

This is chance to raise concerns, put forward positive suggestions to improve services, learn more about the council’s priorities for the next three years and sign up for regular e-newsletters.

Forms will also be available for residents in the Wyreside ward who want to vote in the by election but are not yet registered.
