Lancashire man who contacted minor for sexual gratification due in court next month
A Lancashire man who contacted a minor for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification is due to appear before Preston Crown Court next month.

On Saturday, September 10, Stephen Powell, 42, from Eskdale, Skelmersdale, intentionally attempted to communicate with Izzy, a person under 16. The court was told that Mr Powell "did not reasonably believe her to be 16 or over" and that communication was of a sexual nature.
He admitted the offence and will appear before Preston Crown Court for sentencing on Monday, December 12.
