Missing Tarleton pensioner has been found

A 79-year-old man who went missing from his home in Tarleton has been found safe and well.

Police began searching for Mr Nugent after he was reported missing on Saturday (July 18).

His sudden disappearance had sparked concern for his welfare after his family told police that it was "very out of character".

But Lancashire Police has confirmed that Mr Nugent was found safe and well on Sunday evening.
