A part exchange initiative at one Lancashire development has proved to be a great success.

In fact eight out of 10 would be buyers at the Whalley build chose the part-ex route to buying.

Taylor Wimpey Manchester reported unprecendented take up of its Part Exchange initiative in Whalley near Clitheroe, with 80 per cent of reservations at Calderstone’s Vale proceeding with the scheme.

The charming Whalley development has been a hit with home-owners looking to upsize their existing property without the inevitable stress that comes from trying to sell on the open market.

Anthony Mansfield, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, explained: “Part Exchange has always been a popular incentive for driving footfall and each development will have a number of applications, but even we are stunned at the level of interest for the scheme at Calderstone’s Vale.

“The general feedback is that buyers don’t want to wait around and miss out on the homes, so Part Exchange
offers that peace of mind.”

The scheme enables the house-builder to become the cash buyer for your home in exchange for a new-builld; with Taylor Wimpey even covering the estate agency fees.

Homes at Calderstone’s Vale are available in a range of three, four and five bedroom designs with prices starting at £329,995.

The Billington, pictured here, is a five bedroom detached house. The fitted kitchen with dining area features French doors leading to the rear garden, providing the perfect space for entertaining guests. The spacious lounge has a bay window overlooking the front and French doors leading out to the rear garden.

A separate study is ideal home office space. The master bedroom is on the first floor overlooking the rear garden with an en-suite shower room for added luxury.

Anthony said: “Prospective buyers often delay purchasing their dream home, feeling the property market is too unpredictable. And that aside, selling a home can be both stressful and time-consuming which is why Part Exchange is ideal.”
