Longridge Environment Group's free film night showcases challenging story
The Story of Plastic ,which shows what happens internationally when plastic is consigned to the rubbish bin, will be shown on May 27 and a limited number of tickets are available via Eventbrite.
Longridge Environment Group spokesman Martin Brown said: “I think it’s important because we need to understand the whole story of plastic and that might be just reducing the use of single use plastic is not enough. We need to understand the social injustice.”

Hide AdThe group has obtained 25 licenses to show the film and there will be an online introduction and a discussion afterwards. It was first released in America. Now, because of the cinema closures due to the Covid-19 lockdown, it is being released through environmental groups.
The LEG group is helping to drive forward the town's commitment to creating a plastic free Longridge.
