Crafty online sellers Etsy are holding an 'Etsy Made Local Christmas Market' in Preston this weekend (2–4 December).
The event will be open 10:00–17:00 on Friday and Saturday and 10:00–16:00 on Sunday at Preston Indoor Market on Earl Street.
Sellers on Etsy are well known for their alternative home-made and vintage goods and this event is set to showcase the work of several local artists and crafters.
Christmas shoppers will be able to choose unique wares from Lancashire based crafters including Future Heirlooms, Good Mood Knitware and Created for You by Jane Fox.
Seller Elizabeth Emmens Wilston of Future Heirlooms said: "I am hoping that the etsy made local market will be well attended, I know a lot of the other makers that are also doing this market and we all hope that Preston will turn out and support not only the makers but also the market traders.
"It will be great to be inside after a few of the markets I've done in the past. This year has been very difficult as a self employed artist, the uncertainty during and after the Brexit referendum has made trading difficult.
"We have all been busy making lots of interesting and unusual items that would make great gifts, no matter what your budget."
