Young and old came together for the first Garstang Fun Day.
The town’s Youth Council chose to support Age UK Lancashire during their inaugural fundraising event, with the aim of generating much-needed stock for the charity’s shop in High Street.
On Thursday, August 29, Cherestanc Square came alive with entertainment, everything from local singers and dancers to nail painting and sponge throwing.
Chris Gold of Age UK Lancashire said it was “an honour” to join forces with the Garstang Youth Council.
He said: “To be able to partner with the Youth Council to raise awareness of the services we offer and generate some much needed stock for our Garstang shop is great.”
At 7pm, all eyes turned to Booths Cafe where a fashion show using donated clothing brought a little glamour.
