Horse equipment stolen from trailer

EQUESTRIAN gear together worth over £5000 was stolen from a show trailer in Scorton.

Thieves broke through the padlock on the trailer parked on private premises off Cleveley Bank Lane before stealing a quantity of riding jackets and footwear.

The incident happened overnight on July 17. It is understood the owners of the trailer had spent the weekend at the Great Eccleston Show.

Stock taken from the trailer included eight Jack Murphy tweed jackets worth £35 each, six Jack Murphy wax jackets worth £135 each, Cabotswood boots at £125 each as well as numerous other top brand items.
