“Monsters Stink” was the theme for a lively, action packed three nights of fun for a children’s club last week.
In fact, up to 50 children made use of the opportunity to take part in Inglewhite Church’s Kids’ Club.
Organised by Clare Irwin, wife of Inglewhite pastor John, the pair invited friend Steve Thomson, from Worcester, to run the club.
She said: “It was all about the monsters in our lives and the things that we are afraid of and how God can help us overcome those fears. It was very lively with loads of games and crafts and songs and it went really well.
“The children really enjoyed themselves and we had lots of helpers and our young people helped as well.
“It was good fun and an hour and a half (each night) wasn’t enough. We also had lots of messy games which the kids really loved.”
And the fun didn’t stop there for on Saturday morning famileis turned out for a special morning of fun which included bouncy castles, Sumo wrestling, coconut shy, face painting, giant games, treasure hunt, crafts, hook a duck and coffee and cakes.
