A LEVEL RESULTS: Westholme School

Well over a third of this year’s leavers’ grades are at the top level of A*/A, and almost 70 per cent are at A*- B.

Westholme students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, in 22 subjects demonstrating the depth and range of their abilities. This is reflected in the variety of further study choices.

Students have been accepted on courses ranging from veterinary science and medicine to law, radiography, graphic design and architecture.

Principal, Mrs Horner said: “We are all thrilled with the achievements of this year’s Upper Sixth.

“Excellent teaching from a dedicated team coupled with the students’ own hard work and determination has resulted in a laudable set of results.

“These young people have been a pleasure to work with, and we send them into the world beyond Westholme with results, skills and attitudes which will set them apart from the crowd.

“I wish every one of them the very best for their exciting futures.”
