Garstang’s visitor centre, town councillor Lynn Harter, Barton Grange Garden Centre and the Dewlay cheese shop are as mong the finalists in this year’s new look Lancashire Tourism awards.
They will each find out if they have fought off the competition to scoop the top titles at a special presentation evening to be held at Blackburn Cathedral on November 7.
The awards will be presented by Simon Calder, senior travel editor of The Independent.
This year the awards have a range of new categories and attracted more applications than ever before.
Ruth Connor, chief executive of Marketing Lancashire said: “ We have been so impressed by the quantity and quality of applications, especially in this the awards’ 10th anniversary year.”
Lancashire’s tourism businesses attract over 62 million visitors to the county.
