TICKETS are now on sale for a special promenade production of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at Lancaster’s historic Shire Hall, castle and Priory church.
Presented by Demi Paradise Productions, the play is set in and around the ancient castle law courts and Hadrian’s Tower, as well as adding the neighbouring medieval Priory church (weather permitting) to the indoor stages and backdrops, making for a unique atmosphere.
Audiences of just 60 people each night will be able to catch performances from Tuesday, February 28, to Saturday, March 24.
The Bard’s classic romantic comedy is directed by Sue McCormick, with Demi-Paradise giving the most talented of regionally based professional actors a unique opportunity to perform in full scale plays in one of the most extraordinary non-theatre venues in Britain.
