No77 Creative gets colourful award

No77 Creative Hair won the L'Oreal Colour Trophy Star Award for the North West. Gina is holding the flowers

Gina Halpin, 25, of Lostock Hall, who works at No77 Creative Hair, will now represent the area in the final in London on June 5, competing against nine other stylists across the country.

Salon owner Vicky Cuming said: “Gina submitted a photo of her work and was selected to go to the event at the Titanic Hotel, in Liverpool, where she coloured and styled a model’s hair.

“It is absolutely amazing to be recognised. It would mean the world if we were to win. We have a good chance because Gina is amazing and we have a great model.

“I have invested so much into the training of my staff and building the salon’s reputation, so I am glad it is paying off.

“It feels like we are being catapulted from being a small salon to being recognised with the best of them.”
