A purrfect pets calendar has raised £1,500 for three chosen charities with an all-barking, all-purring calendar.
The Beacon Veterinary Centre in Garstang invited pet owners to take part in a charity competition to find the most popular pet.
Over the past three months pet owners have been posing up their four-legged friends and voting online for their favourite pictures for their chance in the limelight.
The calendar competition, which was set up by Harriet Bertenshaw, of Beacon Vets, has so far sold more than 100 copies and has raised £500 each for charities the North West Air Ambulance, The A.D.A.M Appeal and Croston House.
The calendar months were each sponsored for £50 by a local business and were printed at cost and designed for free by Colincross printers.
Hattie said: “I want to say a massive thank you to all the businesses for their support in sponsoring the calendar and helping to sell them.
“We are going to hand the money over in the New Year, as we still have about 20 calendars left to sell, and hopefully get charity representatives down for the handover in the centre.”
The New Year will also see the competition winner, who received the most votes, new foundland Ruby Sue crowned. Ruby alongisde the 12 runner up pets will all feature in the calendar.
The winner will also receive a doggy selection of treats and her picture will be put on a canvas for her proud owner to keep.
Calendars are still on sale from Beacon Veterinary Centre and are £8 each.
