SEVEN new homes look likely to be built on the site of the former Windsor Road clinic in Garstang.
The building has been empty since the clinic facilities and staff transferred to the Kepple Lane health centre about five years ago.
The old building and site were later bought by acompany which intended to open a private dental business there.
However, those plans fell through and the owners revealed they would eventually be applying to build homes on the site, expressing confidence that such plans would be approved.
There have since been complaints that the site has become an eyesore.
The newly submitted application to Wyre Council shows seven homes, an entrance road and parking spaces on the site, at the junction of Windsor Road and Derby Road.
The application has been lodged by Henry Wild of Moss Lane, Cockerham. It is expected to be decided by Wyre Council within the next few weeks.
