Hide AdStar Pubs & Bars, the landlords, and Mitchell’s of Lancaster say they will, between them, be spending £370,000 on transforming the pub inside and out into what they believe will be the best food and cask ale pub in the area.
As a result of this investment, 20 jobs, ranging from chefs to bar and waiting staff will be created.
Keith Hornblow, operations and sales director of Star Pubs & Bars, said: “We’re delighted that local pub company, Mitchell’s of Lancaster, is to lease the Horns Inn.
“We have waited for more than two years to find the right partner who shared our vision to create a great traditional British pub and would turn it into a destination pub for people wanting excellent food, drink and service while ensuring it has a place at the heart of the community.
