Eleven year old Tallulah Birchall may already be a dancing queen but this year she will be stepping out with a new title when she receives her crown as Scorton's Bike and Barrows Festival Queen
The year six pupil at Scorton Primary School who is keen gymnast with Garstang School of Gymnastics and also a member at the Garstang School of Dance will take centre stage at the annual event which runs from May 5 -7.
She will be attended during this year's parade on Saturday May 5 by her retinue including Erin Bailie, Hazel Haworth, Lewis Huntingdon, Isabel Harwood, Florence Cray and Isobel Pollitt.
Tallula, who last month competed as part of the Lancashire gymnastics team at the North West Grades Finals in Wigan, said: "I would like to be a good role model for any young girls to show that you can enjoy dressing up for occasions but still be sporty, scientific or anything else that you want to be.
"I am most looking forward to walking in the parade with my friends in the retinue and meeting all the other Rose Queens.
Tallulah was previously part of the retinue for former Rose Queen Abby Hesketh in 2014.
